Bio

Cottie Petrie-Norris, 50, is a former marketing professional who first ran for Assembly in 2018, beating Republican incumbent Matthew Harper. In the Assembly, she advanced legislation that aims to combat the fentanyl crisis and strengthened gun seizure requirements at domestic violence incidents. She’s a former marketing director for tech companies and a former marketing consultant. She has a degree from Yale University. She and her husband have two sons and a rescue dog named Flounder.
