Bio
Lori Wilson, 48, is a former member of the Suisun City Council who chairs the influential Legislative Black Caucus. Wilson has a degree in business administration from Sacramento State University. Wilson worked in the Solano County auditor’s office and with national homebuilding company, KB Homes. She’s a cofounder of WIP Solano, an organization that seeks to inspire women to become leaders in Solano County. A parent of a transgender child, she’s advocated for LGBTQ youth. Wilson moved to Solano County with her husband after he spent five years stationed at Travis Air Force Base. They have two children.
