Bio

Rhodesia Ransom, 52, is a former Tracy City Council member and planning commissioner who was in the real estate business before seeking public office. She’s the former district chief of staff for Democratic U.S. Rep. Josh Harder. She was the executive director of the Sow A Seed Community Foundation, which provides mentoring and mental health services to San Joaquin County children. She also was the board chair of Emerge California, and she sat on the board of a local United Way chapter and the Delta College Foundation. She has a masters in public administration from Golden Gate University. She’s married with three children.
