Good morning, everyone. Good morning, everyone. Welcome to JEDE Jobs, the Economic Development and the Economy. I want to thank everyone for being the audience today. This is actually my first meeting, so looking forward to my first chair actually here. So looking forward to working with you all. I think we can accomplish a lot. Hopefully, this year, we can bring in some good ideas, work with our stakeholders, and work with my colleagues. I'm looking forward to working with you, all of you.

Let me also do some house cleaning here. I want to make sure that to ensure Members of the media and the public have access to our proceedings today, the hearing will be streamed on the Assembly website, and Members of the public can provide testimony in person here in the room 127. To preserve the safety of everyone here and to ensure the public access to the decision, please follow the directions of our sergeants.

If any Members of the public in this room would like to testify on the Bill, I will ask you to approach the microphone at the appropriate time. Altwind's testimonies will be in person. There will be no phone testimony options for this hearing. So with that, I would also want to welcome Madam Secretary. Carla, thank you for being here. Appreciate this. And then, Julia, thank you. Right. With that, if the Vice Chair would like to say a few words.

Thank you. Mr. Chair. I just want to echo your comments. I'm excited to be on this Committee. This is my first meeting here, too. So excited to work with everyone here and see what we can get done for our constituents and our districts. So, thank you.

Any other Members would like to say anything? See none. I see none. Okay. With that. It seems that we do have a quorum. Let's move to adopt the adoption of Committee rules. The rules have been distributed to your office. If there's a motion, there's a motion by Mr. Haney and second by Mr. Wallace. Right. Secretary, can you please call roll

Five to zero. And we'll keep the row open. Okay, rules are adopted. Moving on, Members, we're going to take the consent calendar. We have one Bill consent file number one, Senate Concurrent Resolution 22 by Newman, as amended. Is there any objections? I see none. Do we have a motion? There is a motion and a second by Mr. Wallace and a second by Mr. Haney. No, I'm sorry, second by Mr. Hoover. Secretary, can please call roll?
