Bio
Damon Connolly, 62, had a long career in Marin County politics. He’s a former Marin County supervisor, vice-mayor of San Rafael and president of a local school board. He earned his undergraduate and law degrees from UC Berkeley. Before opening a law practice in San Rafael, Connolly was a supervising deputy California Attorney General. In the legislature, he authored a law prohibiting convicted criminals from purchasing body armor. He also passed legislation that allows regulators to pursue civil penalties against those selling flavored tobacco products. He and his wife have two daughters.
