Bio

Chris Rogers, 38, was a Santa Rosa city councilmember and the city’s mayor. He has close ties to the Legislature and its leadership, having formerly served as the campaign manager for former Sen. President Pro Tem Mike McGuire. Rogers also worked on McGuire’s staff and for other legislators. He worked for almost five years as a policy and legislative advocate for Ygrene Energy Fund, a company that finances green energy projects. A former personal trainer, he has a master’s degree in public administration from Sonoma State University. He’s married.
