Bio

Roger Niello, 76, is a car dealer and former CEO of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce. After earning a bachelor’s from UC Berkeley and a master’s from UCLA, he returned to work for the family business overseeing the finances of the Niello Auto Group. He was elected to the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in 1999, and the Assembly in 2004. In his first Senate term, he advocated for fiscal restraint, lower taxes and accountability for the state’s mental health spending. He’s married with five children and six grandchildren
