AB 1543: Municipal water districts: bonds.
- Session Year: 2017-2018
- House: Assembly
- Latest Version Date: 2017-02-17
Existing law authorizes a municipal water district to issue bonds for the purpose of providing money required to be paid to any district or authority organized under the Metropolitan Water District Act or the County Water Authority Act for a certain purpose, and specifies that the amount of those bonds may include the expenses of all proceedings for the authorization, issuance, and sale of the bonds.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes in that provision.
A district may issue bonds pursuant to Chapters 2 (commencing with Section 71860) and 5 (commencing with Section 71940) of this part for the purpose of providing money required to be paid to any district or authority organized under the Metropolitan Water District Act or the County Water Authority Act by the board of directors of such that district or authority as all or part of the terms and conditions upon which the corporate area of the district may be annexed to the metropolitan water district or county water authority. The amount of such those bonds may include the expenses of all proceedings for the authorization, issuance, and sale of the bonds.
