AB 1491: Transportation: road safety.

Existing law requires the Department of Transportation to improve and maintain the states highways, and establishes various programs to fund the development, construction, and repair of local roads, bridges, and other critical transportation infrastructure in the state.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation to improve safety on the roads in the state.
