I'd like to call to order this meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Human Services for August 27, 2025. And we do have a quorum, so if the Committee Assistant can please call the roll?

Okay, we have a quorum present and like to ask all the Members of the Committee to please come to room 2200 so we can conduct our business. We have one Bill on today's agenda., Assembly Joint Resolution 12. This Bill is on the proposed consent calendar.

And so, I'd like to ask, does any member wish to remove AJR 12 from consent? Seeing none, I'll entertain a motion on the consent calendar. Moved by Senator Perez. Thank you. So, we have a motion, and with that, I'd like to ask the Committee Assistant to please call the roll on the consent calendar.
