AB 2094: Affordable housing.

Existing law, the Planning and Zoning Law, requires the legislative body of each county and city to adopt a comprehensive, long-term general plan for the physical development of the county or city and requires that the plan include, among other mandatory elements, a housing element.

Existing law states legislative findings and declarations regarding the need for affordable housing and the need to encourage development of new housing.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
