This measure provides jurisdictional clarity to allow long duration energy storage projects to move through the normal CEC permitting process in the interest of time and the appreciation for the motion.

And the second, I will pause there and introduce my witness, Delaney Hunter, who is joining us on behalf of Hydrostor.

Delaney Hunter on behalf of Hydrostor. The Willow Rock energy storage project in Kern County is our project. This Bill simply says the water feature of our project is not a dam. And that's it. So thank you for your time and your attention. And I ask for my vote.
