ARGUMENTS IN SUPPORT: The California Grand Jurors’ Association writes, “The California grand jury system is unlike any other in the country. As an instrumentality of the Superior Court, the grand jury is uniquely positioned to further the goals of efficiency, accountability, and integrity in local government. Through its reports, it facilitates positive change in the community it serves. Those who step forward to serve as grand jurors deserve the gratitude and support of all of the citizens of this state.”
