Version:
Existing law requires certain persons released from state prison custody to be subject to parole supervision by the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and subject to the jurisdiction of the court in the county in which the person resides following their release from state prison. Existing law requires that, as a condition of parole, a prisoner who has a severe mental health disorder, as specified, be treated by the State Department of State Hospitals, if the prisoner meets certain requirements.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision.
