AB 935: State agencies: demographics: state applications and forms.

Existing law prohibits the inclusion of any question relative to an applicants race in any application blank or form required to be filled in and submitted by an applicant to any department, board, commission, officer, agent, or employee of this state. Existing law provides that any person who violates this provision is guilty of a misdemeanor.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
